After a few weeks of working on the website and training materials, I am switching gears and heading to Guatemala on Sunday. I will be with a team from Canada. I will be meeting Dale there two days before the group, so we will be able to get everything ready before the team arrives. Then, Dale (and Sara, his wife) leave the night the team gets in and we’re off and running! Once the team has arrived, we will spend a day in Antigua. While there, I’ll be able to visit the language school in Antigua I am going to in October. After that, we will load up all our things, including the food for our time there and catch a ferry to San Juan la Laguna. The group will be working at a school in San Juan. In the morning, they are leading teacher and student devotions and working. In the afternoon, they are teaching a rotation of classes not normally offered, like choir and art. It should be a great 13 days! I’m sure I won’t have any way to communicate, so you’ll have to stay tuned until after the 26th. I get in late that night. Until then, thank you for all your prayers and support!
