Latest numbers: Around 21 bridges in the country have been damaged or knocked down. 524 people are stranded and cannot be rescued from where they are because they are caught between two rivers. In a town of 3,000 all of their houses were wiped out from the river. The dams are getting too full so they are having to open them up which causes the rivers to overflow. In some areas people have lost their cows and goats and chickens. Other areas have lost their rice and bean crops and plantain crops.
